Welcome to my personal fundraising page for the
2010 MN AIDS Walk and Run for the Ribbon 4-mile
Hello Cherubs!!
I am walking because HIV education and prevention is important to me and because I want to encourage others to help. The money I raise goes directly to prevention efforts and to serving those affected by HIV. Your help is more important than ever! Sadly, funding to help those in need is being cut while the number of those being affected by HIV continues to increase. In 2008, there were 326 new cases of HIV diagnosed throughout the state of Minnesota impacting people of all races, genders, and sexual orientations. New cases of HIV continue to rise in young adults under the age of 24, particularly in young gay men. The need for prevention education is as critical as ever.
Please know that I am personally grateful to those of you who are able to donate, at any amount! Please support me and the Minnesota AIDS Project as we work towards stopping HIV. Let’s Walk in honor of those we have lost and in celebration of better outcomes for those who continue the fight every day.

Boy oh boy do I have a challenge for you!!! Last year together we raised over $600.00,but...if you can help me raise my goal amount of $1000, I will be pleased as punch to wear my Sister Merriment St. Martha habit (w/cheer skirt) during the 2010 walk. Are you up for the challenge? Do you want to see a Bearded man dressed like the Vatican Cheer Team? Well then I suggest you show me the money!!

About the Minnesota AIDS Project
The Minnesota AIDS Project's mission is to lead Minnesota's fight to stop HIV through advocacy, education and service.
In partnership with over 1,000 volunteers, the Minnesota AIDS Project provides compassionate, confidential and non-discriminatory services, including practical, emotional and social support. In 2009, the Minnesota AIDS Project provided services to approximately half of the over 6,600 Minnesotans known to be living with HIV. The organization also reaches thousands of people with prevention messages through community and outreach efforts.
Your support is absolutely vital to the Minnesota AIDS Project in its important mission. Thank you for your support.
All gifts made to the Minnesota AIDS Walk are 100% tax-deductible. Our federal tax ID number is 41-1524746.
