I am walking in support of women, youth, and families affected by HIV in Minnesota. I am touched by the experience of women living with HIV who presevere through all obstacles and I hope that the funds raised by this walk will increase the devotion of HIV service providers to strengthen initiatives supporting programming that addresses the unique needs of positive women and youth infected with HIV.

About the Minnesota AIDS Project
The Minnesota AIDS Project's mission is to lead Minnesota's fight to stop HIV through advocacy, education and service.
In partnership with over 1,000 volunteers, the Minnesota AIDS Project provides compassionate, confidential and non-discriminatory services, including practical, emotional and social support. In 2009, the Minnesota AIDS Project provided services to approximately half of the over 6,600 Minnesotans known to be living with HIV. The organization also reaches thousands of people with prevention messages through community and outreach efforts.
