When you volunteer online: Our volunteer forms ask you to give us contact information (such as your name and email address) and geographic information (such as your zip code). We also ask you to tell us how you want to help the organization.
We use this information to send you information about the organization and to help match your interests to organization activities. If you provide your phone number, we may call you. You may remove your name and personal information from any list by contacting us at 612-341-2060 or unsubscribe@mnaidsproject.org. We will NOT share your information with other organizations.
When you contribute money online: Federal law requires us to collect and report some information (such as your name, address, the amount of your contribution, your credit card number for credit card contributions, etc.).
When you complete the online donation form: We ask you to select topics that interest you. These topics may include, but are not limited to, the Minnesota AIDS Walk, volunteer opportunities, planned giving, and public policy activities. Based on your selection, you may be contacted by us for future involvement at MAP. We will NOT share your information with other organizations.
When you complete our online AIDS quiz: We do not request or store any personal information about you from the online AIDS quiz. You are NOT asked to submit personal information such as a name, address or telephone number. If you visit another section of our Web site and provide contact information, you may receive organizational updates. Unless you choose to register for an event or as an advocate purchase tickets or donate online, the Minnesota AIDS Project Web site does not require you to register nor do we assign you a password.
